Palmetto, a Charlotte tech company specializing in software that helps customers adopt renewable energy sources, has named economist Larry Summers, the former Treasury secretary, to its advisory board. (Palmetto)

Truist will require its investment bank staff to be in the office five days a week starting June 1. The move affects a few dozen workers in Charlotte, where Truist is based. (Bloomberg)

  • In the fall, Truist will start requiring all staffers to be in the office at least four days a week. "In alignment with our purpose, increasing in-person interactions allows us to reinvigorate a connected culture and continue building on the progress we've made," the bank said in a statement to Axios.
