Calling all car fanatics – the free monthly cruise-in, Cars & Coffee Concord, returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, November 21 from 7-10 a.m. On the same day, get the chance to drive three laps around the legendary superspeedway and get your picture in Victory Lane with a $40 donation to Speedway Children’s Charities. Reserve your spot.

Charlotte Coat Drive “Zip Up” Day at Dilworth Grille: Drive through and donate new or gently used coats to help the Salvation Army of Greater Charlotte reach their goal of receiving 6,000 coats. There will be free food, music, and special appearances from a few Charlotte team mascots. 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Free. Details

Free Chicken Biscuits at Suffolk Punch: To celebrate the launch of its new breakfast menu, Suffolk Punch is giving its first 10 guests a free chicken biscuit today. The breakfast menu, which also includes a B.E.C. biscuit and a veggie omelette, is available from 7:30 to 11 a.m. Menu pricing. Details

Merry Midtown at the Metropolitan Shopping Center: Starting today, the Metropolitan will be rolling out events for the holiday season that include a VTGCLT Pop pop-up shop, Letters to Santa drop-off, Merry Midtown Market, photos with Santa, and a screening of perennial favorite “The Grinch.” 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Free. Black Is Beautiful Beer Release at Brewers at 4001 Yancey: Enjoy a good beer for a good cause. Brewers at 4001 Yancey is releasing its take on the Mocha Imperial Stout as part of an international initiative known as The Black Is Beautiful project. 4001 will be donating 100% of the profits from the sale of this beer to projects that promote equality and inclusion. 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. Free. Free Range opens its Camp North End location: The NoDa brewery is expanding with a taproom in Camp North End. It’s located next to Leah & Louise at 301 Camp Road, and it’ll feature a food menu from the popular restaurant’s kitchen. Opens at 4 p.m. Menu pricing. Details

University City Food Truck Friday at Armored Cow Brewing Co.: Head over to Armored Cow Brewing Co. to enjoy live music and food trucks. Inizio Pizza Fundraiser for Charlotte SPCA: $5 from every pizza sold on Saturday will be donated to Charlotte SPCA to provide our furry friends with the veterinary and foster care they need. 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Prices vary. Details
