Rare mid-century modern house in SouthPark asks $1.49M
Mid-century modern architecture isn’t abundant in Charlotte, and it’s even more rare that one goes on the market. This house has a level of sophistication I’ve yet to see captured in other designs.
I didn’t think I liked mid-century modern homes, but seeing this place was a game-changer.
The property is at 4642 Sharon View Road. At 3,656 square feet, it has three bedrooms and three and a half baths.
The house is totally stripped down — you won’t find tons of ornamentation — but it still feels sexy, sleek and incredibly high end.
From the Hans Krug walnut cabinets to quartz countertops to funky accent lighting, the house has tons of cool subtle touches.
The floor plan is super open, and I love how the mid-century modern style flows effortlessly from room to room.
It would be a great house for someone who likes to host.
In my opinion, the master oasis is the best spot in the house. The bedroom is spacious, the walk-in closet has plenty of room for two generous wardrobes, and this bathroom is incredible.
I’m obsessed with the way the shower is tucked behind the free-standing tub — something about that feels spa-like. It’s simple and distraction free which is the perfect setting for relaxation.
The backyard is just as impressive as the house itself, and makes it an even better fit for someone who enjoys entertaining.
