5 over-the-top grilled cheese sandwiches to get you through the fall

French Onion ($8.50)

Eat your favorite fall soup, complete with wine-braised onions, Tuscan kale, a bistro cheese blend and dijon mustard.

Find it at the Papi Queso food truck. See their full menu, which also includes a Mac Melt (mac-n-cheese and cheddar) and Pig Mac (pulled pork, mac-n-cheese and onions).

Gouda + Plum Chutney ($7.50)

Topped with a pickled green tomato on sourdough.

Jason Gi-ham-brie ($7)

This savory take on the classic is served on a freshly-baked Belgian waffle and topped with Windy Hill’s peach cider compote, brie and ham.

Mushroom & Gruyère ($8.50)

Another honorable mention straight out of the back of Papi Queso’s truck. It’s made with pan roasted wild mushrooms, white truffle spread, fontina and Gruyère.

Slow-Roasted Pork Grilled Cheese ($11)

The Shoo Mercy Grilled Cheese may be gone, but this replacement isn’t something to sleep on. It’s made with white cheddar and topped with chipotle cranberry BBQ sauce between two slices of pumpernickel.
