🏗️ Going Up: Amazon's overbudget

Amazon's huge warehouse in North Andover that opened earlier this year went a bit over budget from the initial $400 million it was projected to cost.

  • The retail behemoth has already put over $600 million into the project, according to the company's annual report, discovered by the BBJ.

The four-story lab space in East Cambridge dubbed One Canal has found some suitably nerdy biotech tenants: Larkspur Biosciences, Incendia Therapeutics and Deep Genomics.

There's more bad news for commercial real estate prices in downtown Boston: a California firm bought a 10-story office building on Milk Street for almost 25% less than it sold for three years ago.

Attorney General Andrea Campbell hired Esme Caramello as the top housing discrimination agent for her office.

  • Caramello has worked with the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau for nearly a decade.
