The big picture: The social media campaign called "As You Are," was created by the former vice president's foundation to collect testimonies from LGBTQ youth and family members to work towards changing "the broader culture to ensure a bright future for all LGBTQ young people," a news release said. The potential 2020 candidate also highlighted increasing rates of suicide and homelessness in the community as a need to change the culture.
