Event Coordinator

The right candidate's primary responsibility is to manage all functions of the job site as it relates to home construction while providing excellent customer service. The Superintendent manages the construction of multiple homes from permit to closing by scheduling and supervising job site subcontractors, homeowner walk-throughs, and inspections while maintaining company construction and safety standards.

Plan and direct construction activities on the building site

Operating from a 900-square-foot schoolroom in northwest Denver, the fledgling organization collected bread from a nearby Safeway store, our first food donor, and distributed it to Little Sisters of the Poor, our first partner agency. The Government Programs Division Manager is responsible for the direct management and oversight of two essential government programs: Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP) and The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP). This role will liaison with respective state representatives and is accountable for ensuring these government contracts are executed in accordance with USDA/FNS, Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), Food Bank of the Rockies, Feeding America policies, and all other government regulations and guidelines.

Maintain USDA program requirements and regulations of CSFP and TEFAP contracts governed by USDA/FNS and the State of Colorado

Provide support and oversight of Government Programs Division staff in preparation of scheduled audits.Report areas of non-compliance to Government Programs Director with recommended corrective action plans to bring compliance issues to resolution

In partnership with the  Government Programs Lead, ensures USDA and CDHS food distribution regulations are adhered to; including but not limited to: Coordinate, schedule and perform site visits annually and/or biannually, dependent on program, Client eligibility and recertification processes conducted, Partner food safety and civil right certification completed annually

Assist Government Programs Director & VP Of Programs with executing the strategic plan, meeting fiscal year goals and program requirements and deadlines

Provide daily leadership, guidance, and support to the Government Programs Division by encouraging and providing staff the resources to safely and effectively accomplish their individual and collective goals

Monitor and improve division policies, processes, and procedures to ensure program processes are streamlined with the operational side to include but not limited to:Daily and monthly inventory cycle counts
Delivery schedules and assurance food products are loaded for delivery

Accountable for TEFAP and CSFP product:TEFAP:  Ordering, monitor entitlement funds and expenditures to ensure equitable product ordering throughout the fiscal year, and responsible for oversight of TEFAP Inventory and distribution of product by expiration date.
CSFP:  Ensure product category and quantities are in house for box building while maintaining regulated inventory levels, and responsible for oversight of CSFP inventory and product distribution by expiration date

Establish and implement communication, customer service, and training processes with partner agencies to include but not limited to:  monthly e-newsletters, surveys, touchpoints, webinars, grant credits, etc.

Oversight for the once a month Saturday distribution: Point of contact for volunteers, staff, and ensuring the distribution runs smoothly

Responsible for all required monthly and quarterly reports due to CDHS

Regularly liaisons with the USDA state representatives
