The FBI announced Tuesday that they have arrested a suspect, Thanh Cong Phan, in Washington state linked to a string of suspicious packages sent to military and government buildings around the Washington, D.C. area. The Bureau said the packages contained "potential destructive devices" and appear to all have been sent by Phan.
Details: The packages were sent to Fort Belvoir, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Fort McNair, Naval Surface Warfare Center, and the CIA on Monday, according to the press release. The suspect is expected to appear in court later today.
