Passengers on some Middle Eastern and African airlines cannot carry their electronics on U.S.-bound flights, according to CNN, who spoke with several U.S. officials. This will impact over a dozen airlines and covers electronics larger than cellphones.
The Department of Homeland Security said, "We have no comment on potential security precautions, but will provide any update as appropriate," but the State Department has been in touch with relevant countries and airlines of the change.
