Cecile Richards is stepping down as president of Planned Parenthood after more than 10 years in the post, BuzzFeed News reports, citing two sources familiar with the matter.
The details: The story doesn't cite a reason for her departure A Planned Parenthood official told the publication that Richards, who’s also president of Planned Parenthood Action Fund, the group’s political arm, plans to “discuss 2018 and the next steps for Planned Parenthood’s future at the upcoming board meeting.” It’s reportedly slated for next week.
