Arctic cold blast targets much of U.S. for New Year's

The central and eastern United States is set to receive another frigid Arctic blast just in time for this weekend's New Year's celebrations, per Accuweather. The cold snap is likely to bring a subzero windchill to New York City as the ball drops on Sunday night β€” and Minneapolis likely won't see temperatures above zero for the whole weekend.

To escape the cold: Head to Key West, Florida or Honolulu, Hawaii for the weekend if you can. The highs in both cities will sit in the comfortable mid-70s.
