Following an investigation of Texas Tech University's use of affirmative action, the Trump administration is telling the school to stop considering race during the admissions process, reports the Wall Street Journal.
Details: This marks the first time the administration has requested that a school reduce its use of affirmative action, the Wall Street Journal stated. Nearly a year ago, the Trump administration revoked Obama-era policies that allowed universities to consider race and promote diversity, reports the New York Times. Harvard and Yale are also under federal investigation for factoring race into the admissions process.
