Time's Up CEO Lisa Borders resigned after telling members of the organization — which has sought to fight workplace sexual harassment in the wake of the #MeToo movement — that her son has been accused of sexual assault.
The big picture: As CBS News notes, Borders took on the job on Nov. 1, the same day that Google employees staged a global walkout to protest the company's handling of sexual harassment and misconduct. Those protests and subsequent pressure prompted Google on Thursday to finally end mandatory arbitration for individual cases of sexual harassment or assault for employees.
