5. Jerome Corsi in plea negotiations with Mueller
Jerome Corsi, an associate of President Trump and conservative operative Roger Stone, is in plea negotiations with special counsel Robert Mueller, the Washington Post reports. Corsi said earlier this month that he expected to be indicted.
Why it matters: A plea from Corsi "could bring Mueller’s team closer to determining whether Trump or his advisers were linked to WikiLeaks’ release of hacked Democratic emails in 2016," the Post says.
