Pope Francis on Sunday refused to comment on claims made by a former Vatican diplomat that the Catholic Church leader knew about allegations of sexual abuse against ex-Cardinal Theodore McCarrick in 2013, reports the AP.
The details: Francis said the 11-page letter by Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano, which provides no evidence for its claims, "speaks for itself" and he declined to comment on it.
