Katie Arrington, the GOP candidate who ousted former Republican incumbent Mark Sanford in South Carolina, will continue to campaign after she was left in critical condition from a car accident last weekend, reports Fox News.
Why it matters: The GOP primary for South Carolina’s first district was already controversial after President Trump weighed in against Sanford. Her Democratic opponent said he would suspend his campaign until further notice, per Fox.
