The countries that are in the new Trans-Pacific trade deal

President Trump tweeted late Tuesday night that Japan and South Korea are lobbying for the U.S. to re-enter the Trans-Pacific Partnership, but South Korea was never part of the deal.

The 11 remaining TPP signatories — who signed a new trade agreement after Trump pulled the U.S. out in January 2017 — are Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam.
