Former CIA chief: Nunes "abused the office" of Intelligence chairman

Former CIA Director John Brennan blasted House Intelligence Committee Republicans for blocking the release of Democrats' answer to Rep. Devin Nunes' FBI memo on NBC's "Meet the Press":

"That Devin Nunes and Republicans denied the ability of the minority, the Democrat members of that committee, to put out its report is just appalling. And I think it, it really underscores just how partisan Mr. Nunes has been. He has abused the office of the chairmanship ... And I don't say that lightly."

Worth noting: Brennan, who served under Barack Obama and has been highly critical of President Trump, also said the controversial Steele dossier "did not play any role whatsoever in the intelligence community assessments" about the Trump campaign and Russia.
