Jared Kushner will become a Senior Advisor to the President. The move was first reported by Mike Allen in Axios AM.
What we're watching:
1) Anti-nepotism laws, as written, prohibit public officials from hiring their relatives. But a federal judge carved out a loophole in the 1990s, saying Bill Clinton could appoint Hillary to a White House task force. The Trump/Kushner lawyers have apparently decided this move is fine.
2) In addition, Ivanka is running the Trump Organization. With Kushner in the White House, prep for another round of conflict-of-interest questions.
