Ta-Nehisi Coates: White supremacy played key role in Trump's win

"Ultimately, I think white supremacy was an indispensable factor ... In 50 years, historians are gonna ask themselves, 'How did this actually happen?' And I think the answer's gonna be the reaction to Barack Obama's presidency," writer and social critic Ta-Nehisi Coates said on NBC's Meet the Press Sunday.
