Rukmini Callimachi, the NYT correspondent focusing on al-Qaeda and ISIS, tweeted out her observations about the operation to liberate Mosul. After saying she was wrong to predict a disaster, she tweeted that the city "looks remarkable," especially the eastern half, and credited the Iraqi forces for keeping the city in such good shape.
