Tom Price indicated to the Senate HELP Committee Wednesday that if President-elect Trump follows through on his support for allowing Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices, Price will drop his opposition to the policy.
"The boss that I have will be the president of the United States."
Why it matters: The idea has also traditionally been opposed by the majority of the Republican Party. If Price starts advocating for it — even if it's just on behalf of his boss — watch to see if he can persuade any of his former House Republican colleagues to join him.
