How the media is adapting to Trump's America

The New York Times is beefing up its Opinion section, announcing two new writers just this week — and they'll be taking on Trump's America in different ways.

"Hiring Anti-Trump Conservative [Bret Stephens] Is Part Of New York Times' Effort To Expand Opinion," by HuffPost's Michael Calderone and Nick Baumann. NYT's Editorial Page Editor James Bennet said there "are many shades of conservatism and many shades of liberalism," and the Times owes it to readers to "capture a wide range."

And on Friday afternoon, NYT announced another WSJ writer (and former associate book editor), Bari Weiss, would join the opinion section.
