House starts the Obamacare repeal process in easy vote

The House vote on the budget resolution Friday turned out to be non-suspenseful and predictable, despite all of the public hand-wringing by Republicans earlier in the week.

The final vote was 227-198, with just nine Republicans voting no — a mix of the usual rank-and-file contrarians: Justin Amash, Charlie Dent, Brian Fitzpatrick, Walter Jones, John Katko, Raul Labrador, Tom MacArthur, Thomas Massie and Tom McClintock.

We may not see more details for a while. House Republicans probably won't release any legislative plans until after their retreat in Philadelphia later this month.
