Heritage Action to Republicans: Hurry up with the repeal

Heritage Action is joining conservative House Republicans in their demand for an immediate vote on the 2015 Obamacare repeal bill, saying delaying the vote has allowed Obamacare supporters to organize to defend the health care law.

"They're here now, in full court coverage," Dan Holler, Heritage Action vice president, told reporters on a conference call. "They're applying political pressure because the delay has allowed them to get organized. And that is a problem."

While the group isn't opposed to things like expanding use of health savings accounts in the repeal bill, it says most of replacement — like tax credits — should be saved for later. "I think the experience Republican leaders are having is replace gets extraordinarily complicated," Holler said, which is slowing down the repeal process.
