Apple is 'optimistic' about possible Trump tax reform
During its latest quarterly earnings call, Apple CEO Tim Cook addressed the topic of tax reform that could help it bring back the cash it's holding outside the U.S.:
"There do seem to be people in both parties who would favor repatriation of that, and I think that would be good for the country and good for Apple ... What we'd do with it, let us wait and see."
Why this would matter: Apple has $246 billion in cash, much of it overseas. Trump has said he wants to help companies bring their overseas profits back to the U.S.
